The Agile Coach is an important role, it requires both hard and soft skills, ability to work with feedback and foster great feedback culture in the company. The Agile Coach brings increased focus on specific topics into our organisation, better delivery planning and adjustments, increased
flexibility, coaching teams to be able to easily adapt to changes, faster project turnaround times, faster detection of product issues or defects, continuously improving development processes and faster deployment of solutions. The main goal for Agile Coach is to provide the Agile team (and also outside the team) with the right knowledge, tools and training to use agile to its full potential.

Responsibilities

The main goal for Agile Coach is to provide the Agile team with the right knowledge, tools and training to use agile to its full potential.

Mentoring and personal/team growth
  • Improving the team through knowledge-sharing, mentoring and coaching by offering new perspectives, possibilities and insight from prior experiences
  • Working towards sustainable and reliable engineering delivery through well know agile practices and tools
  • Ensuring the support, engagement, knowledge and tools for Agile team
  • Supporting and encouraging the team and individuals at the same time
  • Creating a motivating atmosphere for personal growth
  • Developing an Agile mindset in all team members take ownership of challenges and and embrace them as opportunities
Agile teams support
  • Support 2-3 agile teams
  • Guides the teams to create system and knowledge to
  • Identify project risks
  • Identify and diagnose process issues
  • Improve delivery efficiency
  • Training and coordinate the team to run “Agile”
  • Assisting Product Owners with scrum ceremonies and artifacts as well as stakeholder communication
  • Facilitate the Agile ceremonies
  • Supporting meeting preparations, including the planning and reviews
  • Advising the team on the usage of Agile tools

We like people who

  • At least 3 year of experience as a Agile Coach or Scrum Master
  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and product development processes
  • Ability to facilitate, understand, and manage technical discussions
  • Strong interpersonal skills (conflict resolution, giving feedback, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, time management, prioritization
  • An energetic, enthusiastic and passionate personality
  • Ability to work with diverse personality types
  • Ability to facilitate discussion of multiple approaches and drive conflict resolution
  • Ability to work with tools used for managing our development (Atlassian JIRA)
