Now the market leader from the Czech Republic wants to take off not only in Germany but throughout Europe.

In order to make customers fall in love with our awesome products and service, we need ourproducts flying through our warehouse. The logistical operation requires experts who understand the logistical processes from getting products to their warehouse locations, picking them in accordance with the customer orders, packing and invoicing them and to sending them out in our own courier fleet. Responsibilities

We look for the Head of Inbound (Ramp to Shelf).As the Inbound head you should have in-depth understanding of the inbound process in the Fulfillment centre, the passion to drive it and the curiosity to optimize it. You will work closelywith different teams to ensure consistency through the whole fulfillment process. You should provide forward-thinking ideas to build and maintain a strong company presence. You will bereporting directly to the COO in Munich and be in direct touch with our Czech parent company and its management.

Responsibilities


  • Manage the goods reception, its accuracy and the appropriate condition of goods
  • Supervise the compliance with the set standard process
  • Communicate with the supply chain to prevent gaps and operational problems, co-check availability and prioritise unavailable goods according to the result
  • Supervise the correct replenishment and timely securing from buffer positions
  • Manage the shrinkage and create solutions to prevent
  • Resolve and control complaints with suppliers and other departments
  • Reactively solve customer complaints and cooperates with the customer line
  • Ensures the most accurate stock levels possible
  • Supervise the correctness of depreciation and the work of inventory staff
  • Monitored related performance indicators: labor cost, delays, stockouts, shrinkage
  • Plan attendance with regard to the received pieces and adhere to the planned LC
  • Ensure the best possible conditions for the work of receipt and dispatch
  • Optimise space with respect to sales, inventory, and required employee efficiency
  • Protection of workers & people safety
  • Creates an analysis of problem vendors and items
  • Teamwork across departments, esp. Supply Chain, Expedition, IT and Finance

We like people who

  • A logistical expert with extensive experience (min. 5 years) in the fulfillment process and managing an organisation around it
  • Someone who enjoys working in an innovative, ever-changing environment. Has ample energy for a demanding job and is able to transmit that energy to other people.
  • Someone who understands the time frame and fluidity of situations at a start-up, to be able to thrive on the energy and flow in such an environment
  • Is reliable and punctual
  • Can quickly learn and pick up new ways of working
  • A multiplier of knowledge into future fulfillment centers around Germany
  • Delivery focused
  • Preferably industry experience in E-commerce, Retail and/or FMCG.
  • Strong team management and communication skills
  • Language skills: German, preferably English at B2 or higher level, basic knowledge of Slovak/Czech is an additional upside
  • Ability to work with excel and other online applications
